Dr. Fairweather earned her Bachelor's of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her Ph.D. and Master's degrees in economics at the University of Chicago, where she specialized in behavioral economics. In addition to her work at Redfin, Dr. Fairweather is the author of Hate the Game: Economic Cheat Codes for Life, Love & Work (University of Chicago Press) and a member of the academic advisory council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She was previously a senior economist at Amazon.
